If you have any new farm ID’s that need set up or changed, please let your settlement location know as soon as possible. Otherwise, you will be asked to pull off the scale at harvest while we get your farm ID set up.
Construction and electrical work continues at our Paxton facility. Like most projects, completion seems to drag on later than what was promised when contracts were signed. We are pushing contractors to get things running, but it is going to take some more time. If you are planning on harvesting soon, please make sure that you call your delivery location prior to hauling in just to make sure that we are prepared. Ludlow staff are working hard to get all the facilities ready for your bushels and many locations are ready.
Off farm hauling with semis will be limited this year. Our full-time harvest truck numbers are low. We may have some capacity early in harvest before we get enough grain at locations to load out, but once we get grain above a spout at short space locations, trucks will be hauling from elevators to help them keep enough space for patrons to haul in.
Thank you for your continued patronage of Ludlow Coop.
